A native Hoosier, Jacob graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies in 2019, later receiving a graduate certificate in Data Science from Indiana's Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Jacob began his career as an intern with IGWS during his undergraduate studies and continued with IU as a GIS technician. He later moved on to roles in data analytics and enterprise software development at a global accounting firm. Now, he has returned to IGWS as a database developer and administrator. In his role, Jacob will administer and develop research databases and applications of the institute and support enterprise research data management at a high level.
