||This task focuses on Monroe County in south-central Indiana. Monroe County is the site of Indiana’s largest state university, Indiana University Bloomington, is the proposed route for Interstate 69, and lies within the IGS mapping priority areas based on population density and transportation corridors.
||To provide detailed geologic information in an area that continues to experience pressure on natural resources by a large population. The final product provides surficial geologic information for the county.
||The task involved (1) compiling a digital map showing the surficial geology of Monroe County, Indiana, and (2) preparing metadata for the map layer.
