(812) 855-1919

Barb Hill currently handles all photography and imaging needs of the IGWS, and has served in that capacity for the past 33 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geology and a Master’s Degree in Geography from the University of Akron in Ohio. Barb has been responsible for many types of photography over the years, including 35mm, large format, photomicrography, graphic arts, aerial photos, and slide making and copying. She introduced digital processes for photography into the IGWS as early as 1990, when the IGS owned one of the first and only slide scanners in the state of Indiana. Digital photography has now replaced most of the traditional film photography at the IGWS. Barb has been a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals since 1999.
